Personally I think it depends on how many people are going to be driving the car. If it's only you, or infrequently used by someone else, then how often are you going to be changing the seat position.
If it's shared then the power/memory seats could be an advantage... just my 2p....
Not worth it unless there is more than one driver...even then, there isn't much room in that cabin to actually use those power seats - the engine is right behind you...the back of the seat is power anyway, just not the height and tilt functions - but if its only you driving, then save your money or put it towards another option...
The OTHER advantage of power seats is.... adjustable lumbar support. Which is worth it's weight if you have lower back issues. The standard and sports seats don't have that.
You know, I think at one point the two worked on a project together. I remember reading back in middle school when the Volvo 850 supposedly had its engine designed with Porsche input. The engine sure sounded damn good I must say. Have you driven the S60 R? That thing is out of control..with super sexy styling but it's no Porsche in both timeless look, steering, or performance...
Considering any woman in my car sitting on the passenger side isn't allowed to drink anything but water, no eating, no touching anything or any part of the car without washing her hands...I don't think my passenger will complain...they're not allowed to touch anything, not even the seat adjustments. :-D
