    996 Carrera4 fairwell video

    Finally managed a way of hosting this little video, its my fairwell tribute to beloved my previous Carrera4 that I traded in for the 997S. Its a short edited compilation of other videos I had made, 25MB and 5 mins long in .wmv format. Hope you like it

    I start laughing when you put that opera (Andrea Bocelli ) song at the end!!!...294kph...VERY impressive!!!!!! ...

    BTW:You dind't put that jamiroquai section , make sure you do it in the next video with the 997S

    I know the sceneries!!! You came to Portugal for speeding!!! And some of the footage was captured in Monte Sta Tecle am I correct Carlos? I 'm Portuguese (Porto) and I have a spanish license but be carefull Carlos because in a couple of months time the Portuguese police will be able to take your license (and mine) because both countries will be connected by data base. EXCELENT video Carlos! I'm form Porto we got to eet sometime.

    And while we're on the subject, the best ambient album ever IMO is actually Norwegian. Substrata by Norwegian artist Biosphere

    Carlos- I'd give anything to have a daily commute like yours. Mine involves stop and go traffic and idiots who like to drive 10km/hr under the speed limit in the fast lane!!! btw whats your average speed on your commute?
    Awesome vid- can't wait for your 997 one. Its gotta be out of break-in by now.

    average speed on the on board computer in that commute is around 80mph, including some city driving which is compensated by the highwqay part.
    Overall average speed in my on board computer of my 996C4 (haven't checked my 997S) was 55mph

    Great, glad you liked it orchard, its great for relaxed driving too.

    I just got Aphex Twin (Selected Ambient Works 85-92) that Temm recomended and its great too.

    Very nice! I like the color combo., as well. I'm definitely going with the sand beige interior or something similar (whatever they call it) for the 997TT when it comes out. I would go with a metallic blue or black for the exterior. Was it hard to keep the blue clean? (Come to think of it, did it matter? )

    Its Ocean Blue with Savanah Beige, one of my favorite combo's. I went black/black with the 997S to vary a bit and sportier look, but the Blue/Beige is very elegant. It is a big harder to keep it looking clean but that didn't bother me too much I usually wash the car only 1-2/month, otherwise it takes too much time off my free time that I could be driving instead

    The only thing with the light interiors such as the Savanah Beige is that the dashboard reflects on the windshield unlike a dark interior. You get used to it, but I prefer it not to.

    Hey Carlos, I am just curious when are you doing the 997S video??, rrrrrmmmmmm its just curiosity
    Love that angle looking to the steering wheel in your 996 video (I know, I know, just said this several times to you, but again that angle shows the perfect control of the car in the motorway )
