    Picked up my 997 S Cabriolet......

    Here she is at my dealer the day I picked her up. I asked the dealer to leave all of the factory paint protectant film on the car.

    You can see the line of the clear bra in this shot. I had the hood,front fenders,lights,rocker panels, behind each wheel done. Also had a Silver Crest put on and clear markers plus some other stuff.

    My wife and I took a trip up to Mohegan Sun Casino in CT yesterday. Holy Cow ! I love this car. We had such a fantastic time. We won enough money to cover our room, dinner, parking (Had to give the guy a healthy trip so he would let me keep the car at the Hotels Front entrance)etc. But I have to say my favorite part about the last 2 days had to be THE DRIVE !!! I don't think I will ever be without a convertible again. What a car. a notch up in quality from my 996 Turbo that's for sure. Two best options imo are the PSE and the thicker steering wheel.

    We got home about noon and I feel like getting back in the car for another few hundred miles. It is so comfortable.

    Good idea to keep the standard 19 rims !
    And good idea to get the thicker steering wheel. The standard one is clearly too tiny.

    I have a set of 20" Techart's on order but I think I might cancel. I like the handling of the 19"s.
    I'm definately surprised by the thickness of the thicker steering wheel. I wouldn't be happy with the standard one.

    Just got back 3 hours ago from a 500 mile trip. Sunburned and loving every minute of it. It will be my main commuting car that I'll drive over 300 miles a week. But staring at it is fun too.

    Stradale, can you take a picture of this thicker sports steering wheel? Option XPA, I believe? I don't think I've ever seen one.
