GT3???

It seems that not much people in this forum talk about the new upcoming GT3, so i am wondering when will the GT3 be available for ordering and the MSRP? I have never set in a GT3 before but from what i heart it lags the luxury amenities in other porsche, is this going to hold true to the new GT3?

I've always thought the GT3 to be just as luxurious as any other porsche, obviously with the exception of the GT3 RS model, this has been brought up a few times before. they estimate the GT3 to be only coming out next year, hopefully being able to place orders late this year

If you're worried about luxury then the GT3 is obviously the wrong car for you. It has A/C and powered windows, but the ride is harsh.

I guess it will have PCM too due to the Sport Chrono option.

I am now thinking of geting the new GT3 and trade my current carrera in. I am a young guy and think that i can manage the harsh ride!

The MSRP is what making me backing up on my decision. Does anyone know the MSRP of the GT3?

take the price of the old gt3, it will be around there seeing that the price of the old carrera S costs the same the the new carrera S when it came out

Ya that's what i thought but isn't there a post earlier saying that there will be a price increase for Porsche?

I get the feeling that many people on the board are interested in the 997 GT3 and when some rumor pops up there is a frenzy, but overall we have very little hard data so there's not much to talk about. It's very frustrating to look forward to a car that you know little about nor how long you have to wait. I can't wait until we know more.

Well the biggest question concerning the 997 GT3 is about what type of engine it will have. Most people here( myself included) think it will have a slightly optimised version of the 996 GT3 mkII engine but there are others (even one knowledgable editor!) who think it will get a modified carrera S (M98) engine (which is a lot cheaper to build)

. The latter will make the whole car a lot less attractive IMO. It is also said that it will have PSM which ain't that bad

In the last 3 weeks i drove a BoxsterS and a CarreraS and also Considered waiting for a CaymanS.Yesterday I asked if I could drive a 04 GT3 with 2k miles.
What an amzing car! I had heard but you must experience it. I bought it and now I can't stop driving it [only to sleep]. Hard to imagine they could improve it, but they will. Mine was traded in because it rode to rough, thank you.

I HAVE to try one....but not before I have baught my 997 C4S or C2S , otherwise I might have a much bigger decision problem...:-)
