    Hi fastasma;
    As far as I know if your car has X51 then it comes with oil pick up mod even if it was fitted with the power kit afterwards the kit comes with the mods for a diferent and more effective oil pick up avoiding oil starvation.

    I spoke to my Porsche Center. They confirmed that the oil pickup mod was part of X51.
    They also told me that the mod made it possible to use R-rated tires. I didn't ask specifically about this, they just guessed why I was asking about the oil pickup...

    sorry for the late response. this was confirmed by JimB and i saw it on the tequipment brochure. regarding r compounds with a regular 996 like mine, there are fine. just came back from a DE/track day and no puffs of smoke, oil pressure was fine, and i was hauling a$$. only with race slicks will you generate enough G forces to cause the oil starvation problem.
