Hi folks, so I am here sulking with the fact that I just sold my M3 yesterday. As I told my wife, it was the longest relationship I've ever had - having owned it for almost 9.5 years. Of course, she responds with "Well, if you're lucky, you can have a longer relationship with me."

So anyway, I am surfing the net and went to the APR website. My wife's A4 has the APR chip and the difference is quite dramatic. I have even proven it by doing my Gtech pro runs.

According to the website, they can have a 987 using 93 octane gas producing 321hp/289lb-ft. With 91 octane for you poor California folks, 315hp/282lb-ft. But they are selling this at a whopping $999.

So, does anyone here actually have any experience with these chips for Porsche's? Or any other tuner's chips for that matter? I am having a hard time believing that these chips can take a 280hp/236lb-ft stock to those levels. Effectively a 41hp/46lb-ft INCREASE! For turbo cars, it's easier to believe. But for normally aspirated cars?
