I was looking for an alcantara steering wheel for my tiptronic car, but couldn't find the right one. Beside the Techart one i found the third party stuff terrible and the Techart is too thick for my small fingers;-)

When i asked my OPC if i could get the GT3 steering wheel for a tiptronic car, they said no way and offered me the Tequipment alcantara sport steering for 1500 Euro (~ $ 2.200) without airbag

Thereupon i said no way and ordered the GT3 steering on my own risk, to see what i can do.

When i received it, it took less then 10min to dismantle the original grey blind caps and to install the tiptronic switches. The steering wheel itself is exactly the same for both versions.

Attached a picture of my little mod, but i did have to make it b/w because the color of my natural brown interior in this garage shot with neon lights was so unbelievable orange
