AN EXCEPTIONAL PORSCHE COLLECTION
PARIS 8 FEBRUARY

A collection of Porsches from an exceptional Swiss stable will highlight our 8 February auction in Paris. The 13 ‘no-reserve’ automobiles will be led by none other than the 959 Sport, one of just 29 of its kind. It retains its original factory fitted seats with racing-style harnesses, rear seat delete, leather-wrapped roll bar and upgraded suspension, all 959 Sport-specific upgrades. Also part of the line-up is the 1994 911 Turbo S 3.6Porsche Exlusiv produced the special Turbo 3.6 S and sold it to their most important clients. Most were specified with the slant-nose ‘Flachbau’ option, with just 17 specifying the traditional-look 'Package' body, this example included.

RM Sotheby’s car specialist Oliver Camelin has worked closely with the cars and knows them better than most. He had this to say about the collection: "It is a privilege to have been entrusted with such a special group of cars. The Porsche market has seen tremendous activity of late, with a strong appetite for quality and modern classics - as demonstrated by our London and Duemila Ruote sales last year. It is a very rare and exciting occasion for so many unique and exceptional Porsches to be offered ‘without reserve’, and we expect the collection will capture the attention of the market."
