    Order Status

    After months of going back and forth between M3 and 997, I finally placed an order on a 997S. It will be built in July. The order status is MFGCNF. Can someone show me how to track the progress of my order? Thanks.

    Can't show you how to track the status, but I can tell you the correct choice was made. I owned a '01 M3 convertible. Great car, but a world of difference. Drove my neighbors M3 after owning a 997s for about a month. If felt like an SUV.Now the biggest problem you will have.......waiting

    Here are some of the codes:
    ACKNWL Order acknowledged by PCNA
    ACPORD Order accepted by PCNA
    CANCEL Order rejected by PCNA, no allocation
    CMPPRD Vehicle completed production
    CUSTMR Customer order
    DLRARR Arrived at dealership
    EXPPDI Expedite at PDI
    HLDORD Order held/over allocation
    IMPINV Vehicle complete and invoiced
    IMPPRT Vehicle at U.S. Port
    INTRND Vehicle shipped to dealer
    ONVESL On vessel
    MFGCNF Order assigned a production number by PCNA
    PDIFIN Vehicle finished PDI
    PLPROD Vehicle is planned for production
    PRDEST Estimated completion date
    PRDLST Factory last checkpoint
    PROD Vehicle in production
    SHPDLR Ship to dealer

    The only place to get the current status is your dealer. They are the only ones with access to the computer system that can provide this info.
