driving-wise for sure. but not so much the looks:::))) and a ferrari is a ferrari is a ferrari:::))))

That's true. But please don't remind me of my injured Ferrari Smiley

Well, look on the bright side, at least it wasn't the 918.

Re: Ferrari F12 Berlinetta / 599 GTO Successor

I think those pictures tell one thing more than anything else: vehicle power now far outweighs driver competence. 600-700HP in a road legal sports car. A professional race car driver would be happy if he gets to drive a car anywhere close to that. Yet any moron can buy a high powered sports car, floor the throttle and wreck it in 5 seconds indecision

Well no, RS basically looks exactly like Porsche's race cars.

The TdF has nothing in common with any of Ferrari's race cars.

I still prefer the F12 looks over TDF but this car is indeed a beast, you could never see Chris talking with such passion about a Lambo or Porsche, actually on his 991,2 Turbo S review he was more worried on taking a coffee than driving the car.

I would not be surprised if the EU came up with some legislation on who can drive high powered cars, similar to what we already have on motobikes SmileySmiley

Cup cars, GT3R and the GT3RSR all have even bigger wings. For all intends and purposes, the GT3RS is the baby brother of the 3 race cars.

I certainly have a lot of 'respect' for the power these cars have...and always remind myself that electronic gizmos and fat sticky tires cannot defy the laws of physics.

Pretty bizarre, imo. Will some people buy it anyway, just because it is a limited edition?

Crazy prices. An Enzo was $650K USD when it debuted, and people are asking north of $1M for a special edition F12.

I'd rather put that $1M toward a Maserati MC12 or something more significant than a glorified F12. No doubt it's a sweet car, but it's still an F12 at the end of the day.

Gotta agree with this. There are other cars out there that are more significant at the end of the day than a souped up F12. That premium is insane over the original price, IMO the first guy saw there weren't any on the market and took a gamble and set the pricing at 1M, the second guy just wants to ride the high created by the first and boom, an insane price bubble is created.

Re: Ferrari F12 Berlinetta / 599 GTO Successor

Never going to sell for that price. These tactics are just used to boost views and it works like a charm: we all clicked on the link, maybe some of us even clicked on some other inventory of theirs.

Even though, it won't be sold for less than double MSRP which is still ridiculous.

I assume the F12 keeps the n/a 12 cyl. or is Ferrari going to add a second engine version with a Biturbo V8?

Probably keep the v12, but wouldn't be shocked if they offered the v8 too just like the Lusso.

It is definitely keeping the V12 and power will be upped over the F12 berlinetta. 4 wheel steer will no doubt make an appearance too.

Rear Wheel Steering seems to become a thing now with sportscar manufacturers. They probably realized how amazing it is (911 Turbo/S had it first...talking about modern sportscars here).

Not only with sports cars . It will soon be on most cars . Renault has it now on their new sedan and it does marvels . Audi on the Q7 . It does transform the car in a very good way .
