Comments? Moers' departure a good thing? Can Felisa turn it around?
Amadeo Felisa and Roberto Fedeli did good things for Ferrari so should prove a good pairing for Aston if there is enough cash in the pot for model development. Luca di Montezemolo is friends with Stroll so it looks like he has likely had a hand in the background re-uniting his old Maranello team.
It's also interesting that Michael Leiters (ex Ferrari) has been appointed as the new CEO at McLaren from July.

Key concept here is resources. Its highly questionable if Aston has the cash and capabilities at this point needed to turn this around.
I'd tend to agree Scott but Felisa has been on the main board for a year I believe so must have an insight into what is possible in terms of financial constraints. I doubt he'd have been able to tempt Fedeli to join him without knowing there was a big enough budget to make significant changes but time will tell if these are short term, revolving door hires as well.

You may be right. An alternative way of looking at it is for Felisa this is one last big payday and Fedeli has bounced around quite a bit and might not have had any other better options.

He takes over AML, Brings up AMR, who get paid to service the Valkyries, and also pay for his son to run on F1. It feels like he thought he could milk cash from AM while artificially propping up its perceived value enough to get a good offer from MB and then walk away with full pockets and a seat for junior. But then none of it has worked out and the brand is suffering more and more.

I was at the receiving end of someone playing that same move on a company I worked at some years ago, albeit at a much smaller scale. So lets just say I feel for the AM employees who actually care about the brand.

Between Palmer and Stroll the Aston employees really have gotten the short end of the stick.
