"Downtown" with Anthony Edwards. There's a small part where some doctor/lawyer pulls up in a turbo 911. I think there's a chase scene in there too. Edwards throws a rock through the window. But what I remember most is the engine whine as the car is pulling up.

Weird Science (1985) - The two main characters each get a sportscar - one has a Ferrari and the other has a Porsche. I'm not certain, but I think it was a 928.
Class (1982) - Rob Lowe drives a red 911 SC convertible. The worst moment is when he washes the inside out with a hose after his friend throws up in it!
Doc Hollywood (1991) - 356 Speedster if my memory serves me correctly.
Top Gun (1986) - Kelly McGillis drives a 356 Speedster.
Condorman (1981) - Condorman????!! The villains drive a fleet of flat-nosed 911s..
Le Mans (1971) - Haven't seen the film, but have heard Steve McQueen drives a 911 in it.
Clockwise (1986) - 911 convertible again. Seem to remember it had a garish interior colour - White (maybe silver) with pink or red interior!
I can't stop thinking about this now and will try to remember some others...

Yup, Joe Don Baker drove a Z3 back in Goldeneye, Bond had a remotecontrolled 750il in "Tomorrow never dies", a Z8 in "The World is not enough", and I believe a couple of villains have driven Beemers...

don't think anybody mentioned "Cellular". It was a pretty good movie and was the first movie with an appearance of a cayenne. porsche even wrote an article about it: http://www.press.porsche.com/products/press_releases/release.php?id=227 (if need the username and password pm me).

Somehow I think if you searched hard enough you could probably find the answers to even those questions on the internet. It is a fantastic source of information/misinformation. And to answer your questions, I believe that my wife knows the answers to those questions without asking me.

Yup, Joe Don Baker drove a Z3 back in Goldeneye, Bond had a remotecontrolled 750il in "Tomorrow never dies", a Z8 in "The World is not enough", and I believe a couple of villains have driven Beemers...

As far as I recall and can see there are no Porsches with any major role in any of the Bond movies.

There was one short story though, I forget the name of it, (view to kill?)it dealt with a Russian female cellist / assasin that Bond assasinated in Berlin. In that Fleming story, the German agents working for Russia drove a black Porsche coupe. The story was also the first public source to mention the then new AK47.
Bear in mind this is all early 1950's era stuff when Porsches first PR maelstrom occurred. Ferry picked up Alfred Krupp at his prison release for war crimes in a new Porsche coupe. He did that as a way to showcase his cars in the press to the few postwar super rich in Germany.
