There are rumors floating around that I've now confirmed with my PC of a Carrera RS coming for 2023, does anyone have any more information regarding this?

From what I can tell, the 911ST will be the most desirable of the special models…

Given that it is nearly impossible to get hold of any GT-models nowadays and as I do not want to either invest in any Porsche watches nor in one or two EVs just to climb up the ladder of the distribution hierarchy, I just would hope that the "RS" would just be a standard Carrera (like the "T" before) with a very limited choice of (for argument sake, non-metallic) colors, bucket seats, no rear seats, light weight glass, reduced damping material, sports suspension, duck tail, some comfort elements (for the old farths like myself: aircon, nav and front lift) and no choice / option whatsover to specc it back into an ordinary standard Carrera ... and no Porsche Manufacture input, please ...

You joke but even getting a high end kitchen appliance right now is at least a 14 month wait. I have a client that was quoted 2024 for a specific oven.

We had a microwave oven fail recently and we decided to redo the entire kitchen; however, the supply issues has rendered this idea moot.

It's still doable if you're strategic about it and willing to think outside the box. I suspect that in most industries this could be a blessing in disguise for smaller manufacturers. To keep using the same example: a lot of appliance brands that were not as popular two years ago are selling a lot solely based on the fact that they had inventory after the big names ran out of stock.
