    pics of palm green interior

    Hi,

    I am looking for pictures of palm green interior which I think would be very nice and unique with either seal grey or basalt black.

    I know that it is a very rare color (especially here in France!). So, if you have any pics, could you please post them?

    could you settle for some combo seal grey/green interior on 996? not so sure its palm green though,it might be another green

    Palm green wasn't avalaible on 996. This color was first introduced on the Cayenne and is now available on 997 and 987.

    The green color which was available on 996 was nephrite green, which is far more lighter and "flashier" - and IMHO less "rich" and "classy" than the palm green interior.

    I have seen the Palm Green interior in a Cayenne.....much better in person than most would think. It is a pretty dark green and would look great with Silver, White, Dark Teal,...maybe even Slate Grey, but not much else.

    I believe one person here a while back said they saw a White on Palm Green 997 in person and said it looked really nice.

    erg that interior is not for me , that looks more like a dark turquoise!

    Actually I have a couple of Windmill Palms in my back yard and the dark green color of the frons is a close match to this......so I can see where they got it from.....

    Here is another pic of the palm green in a Cayenne. But I haven't found any picture of this colour neither in a 987 nor in a 997...

    Just curious: Is this a better representation of the color? I've noticed too many pictures get washed out with blue.

    Anyway I think this color needs getting used to.

    I really don't like it. It will be very, very hard to sell this car again.

    I think the picture posted by Olivier is spot on. Its definitely not a color for everyone, but is different, which is how a Porsche should be. I'm getting pretty tired of seeing a sea of Seal Grey/Silver on Black cars now, time to move on!

    After having seen Palm green in the flesh on a Cayenne, I can tell you the pic I posted is very close to the reality (it has indeed much blue in it and is very dark). You can have an idea of the color by comparing it to the exterior, which is Dark Teal.

    I'm not sure Palm would look good with any Black exterior,
    but I think it would look awesome with Silver or White.....just like Sea Blue does.

    Like it or not, it's an interior color that you order for keeps. Selling it would be difficult, at a give-away price. Of course, if you're well-off enough that it doesn't matter, then it doesn't matter. Folks these days forget about the past. Dark green interiors used to be commonplace, a popular option in most any car you wanted to order. But they typically came in cars that were painted a complimenting shade of green (green used to be one of the top-sellers in the 60's, especially light "Ivy" metallic). So it has to be mated with the right exterior color, which really limits you to a shade of white, or a shade of green. Anything else, and you've got a color-clash catastrophe. Even black would look bad. Only a light-to-medium green could work with black. This Palm Green would not.
