CloseBeen lurking around the forum for many years, but finally made the leap to buy something less typical and therefore post-worthy than my current Porsches: a 2009 997.2 GT3, w/o Clubsport. Came to me in late March, so I was busy making sure it was detailed and switched to pilot 4s - essential in our cold climate. Haven't driven it much yet, but first impressions are as expected stiffer, borderline agro. A much rawer car than my 991.2 gas. Me like!

If the ride proves too stiff for you there is a great product from Tractive who make dampers with their patented DDA valve which works through the Porsche PASM system with a different DSC controller reacting to surface changes extremely quickly, they can be paired with lower rated springs for a super comfy ride.
Can I ask how is you clutch they seem to vary a lot as cars get older and some can be horribly stiff ?

As far as ride is concerned, I don't mind for now.. the car is without lift, so it breaks my heart a bit every time I scrape a speed bump, but we'll both live. the clutch is quite heavy indeed, but I have no point of reference since I haven't had a proper manual since '99 - and I'm enjoying it a lot!
it's funny I noticed I need to get used to the N/A engine - because of turbos for the past 10 years my reaction is to change up way too early.. can't wait to take it on a proper road and learn how sync with it..
