    I am curious as wich feels more composed at 150 - 185 mph.

    A delimited CL65, a 997S w/PASM, a 997w/Sport suspension,
    996TT, or Ferrari 550/500/whatever F car.

    Anyone with experience at those speeds in different recent makes and models who can compare the difference in feel?

    Obviously Porsche is a very good track car, but on 'bahn trips, is there something less edgy at high speed?

    Just curious!

    Ive only tried my own Boxey, an F360 and a 620 bhp Audi A4 with motorcross suspension at those speeds, and the F360 is the most firm and composed at that speed. Probably due to its flat bottom and incredible downforce. The Boxey is also very stabil, but a tad more "nervous", although it is in the same category as the F360. You just focus on the experience and thrill and not so much on the "oh my god, I really gotta focus to keep this car on the road".
    The Audi was faster than any of them, but simply not built for those speeds and lacked the necessary downforce above 200 km/h (appr. 125 mph).
    Hence it was way more nervous and sensitive to sidewinds etc.
    Wanna go fast, stay close to the ground. I guess no auto-regulated suspension or electronic system can compensate for having a car that is too tall.
    The Merc is 1398 mm tall, the 987/986 is 1295mm and the F360 is 1214mm tall and wide as hell.
    I think the overall gravity point of the car very much translates into good stability at high speed.

    Thanx for the info. Im looking to add a fast cruiser soon. I really need something with 4 seats, a trunk and that likes to go fast.

    I ruled out a Cayenne Turbo. No way would I give money for one with its E gas throttle lag. New BMW's have a odd cat urine like leather smell I cant stand. So that leaves a
    fast Benz or a heavily discounted (lol)612 or something like that anyway.

    Maybe an Audi A6 4.2 or something like that? The new A6 looks awesome.
