    Does anyone know the difference between PCM and PCM II?

    Ron,

    My TT comes standard with PCM (navigation etc.). So, what is PCM II?

    The brochure does not list PCM II, it does lists PCM as an option for the S and standard for the TT. However, the Porsche webiste lists PCM II as an option for the TT for more than $2600?

    Please enlighten me. Thanks.

    Thanks. But I'm still unclear if I have PCM or PCM II. Today I received my navigation disks. They are CD's and not DVD's.

    Does this mean I do have PCM II?

    Correct me if I'm wrong guys,
    but the simplest way to see if you PCM1 or 2 is:
    If your PCM has a CD slot instead of an audiotape slot, then it's 2,
    if it has a number keypad it's 2
    if the it's a widescreen, it's a 2.
    If it doesn't have any of those, well, then it's a 1. Which frankly with an audiotape slot, looks a bit from the 80s!

    Thank you. I've got PCM II. I put in the CD this morning and the navigation is miles ahead of the one I had in the X5
