Gnil:Looks good in white but only when very clean.
Got my allocation date. But..... also bad news.
A factory that builds electric cables for Porsche has been destroyed. All productions are stopped for an undetermined time .
Where is that factory?
Destroyed by fire?

the-missile:and UV looks cool on the 4RS
The purple shades do look very good on the 4RS.
Starting to like also quite a lot the silver with gold rims. A conservative combo but works well on the 4RS with all the WP black accents.
I probably have many, many, many month to change any of my ordered options.

Carfection
the best yet, and, it seems catchpole has a very good friend in Weissach ... I wouldn't have mind to bring the car from Estoril to Germany either ... ... all in all - a car I can't afford, but can dream of ...
Lots of good technical info in this one:

22 GT3 Manual, 73 Carrera RS 2.7 Carbon Fiber replica (1,890 lbs), 06 EVO9 with track mods. Former: 18 GT3 Manual, 16 Cayman GT4, 73 911S, Two 951S's, 996 C2, 993 C2, 98 Ferrari 550, 79 635CSi
It would seems Porsche has given out some incorrect information during their briefing to the press out in Europe. Quite a few incorrectly identified the gold painted aluminum wheels as magnesium wheels.
Also of note, Porsche is a bit cheeky in their North American launch, running Willow Springs backward so there isn't a direct comparison of lap times with any cars.

Hmmm, In the configurator the wheels are magnesium (Weissach package)…

Yes, they are optional. But some of the videos claim to be driving a car with Mags when they were the Aluminum version (very different spoke pattern - the mags look similar to the mags on the GT2 RS).

You can't show that a wannabe Porsche is as fast as the never ending king 911...
