    Brilliant car.

    Is that Black or Natural Grey leather interior?
    Gorgeous-- interior leather looks better than any pic I have seen.

    Please tell us the interior is Black (and save me $1500USD over Natty Grey leather).

    Saved! It's just black. Maybe it looks a little bit more black on these pictures than in real. But I really like it. Looks great. The dials look better in real than on the pictures. Not so flashy white, more alu look.

    The more I drive the more I like this black/black combo.

    There's a hack for the 996 PSE where it's rewired so that the button turns the PSE bypass valve always closed at ALL speeds , or always open at ALL speeds - the ideal use of the button. No more annoying, embarassing on/off/on/off/on/off just keeping up with traffic driving down an urban road. Obviously, the Euro noise police disapprove !

    It is weird. But it's true. It's not always changing exactly at 50 and 80, but about that.



    I almost can't believe this is true. In MPH that would mean the cars sport exhaust is on till approx. 31MPH then off till approx. 49MPH then back on ? For my commute that MPH range where a good portion of distance is traveled.

    So what happens when you're going along on the highway between 45mph and 55mph. The exhaust goes in and out modes between sport and non-sport ? That would have to be the worst possible spot for it to kick on and off.
    I think the sound of that would drive me insane. How could that be ? Must be something missing here.



    It' s illegal to drive at 45 mph on our highways ! too slow

    Seven... Are you going to ask your dealer to get rid of the off PSE sound between 50 and 80 km/h ? Is it possible on the 997 ?
