New Ferrari models
Hi everybody.
Here are some news I heard about the new Ferrari:
The next generation of the F456 GT was due at the Frankfurt motorshow in September but presentation was cancelled because Ferrari wanted to concentrate on the new Maserati Quattroporte, which will definitively be shown in Frankfurt. The successor of the 456 will not arrive before 2004.
A word to the Quattroporte:
This car will be shortly longer than S-class or 7 series, with all kind of luxury extras included (e.g. ventilated massage seats). It will have the 4.2 l V8 of Coupé/Spider with 400 hp and will cost about 105.000 Euro.
For the successor of the Ferrari F360, there are two rumours circulating:
Either they will bring something like a "Modificata" with basically the same design as the F360, but with the new, power increased V8 from Maserati. This model would be on sale for about two years.
Or they show up in one or two years time with a completely new model (design and new V8).
According to the people I spoke to, no one knows for for sure at the moment, which way Ferrari will take.
