It sounds like you are "hiding" something.
To me it sounds like you know what the car is, and further it seems like you are saying, in a round about way, that the Turbo will have even wider rear fenders than these depicted here, UNLIKE the 996 line where the Turbo had the same width fenders as the C4S.
So for the 997 we will have standard width (997, 997S) and than a wider width for maybe a (997 C4, or C4S, or maybe another designation) an even wider width for the 997 Turbo.
Because you do say he caught something special - so it is definitely no standard width 997.
Looking at this photo, all I see is a chop job a la Photoshop IMHO.
RC, correct me if I got it wrong, but isn't PCNA releasing the C4 for sale this Sept. I would think testing is over and done with by now!

Before this thread gets any larger staring endlessly at the derrieres of various 997's, I want everybody to hold up their hands, point your left forefinger at your right forefinger, and slowly move them toward each other while focusing your eyes on something in the background..... See the hotdog you can make??? LOL!! That's tantamount to what we're accomplishing here...

P.S., Check the Rennlist.com equivalent '997 widebody' post. The IMAGE in the pics IS a widebody (it is either
1.) authentic pic of upcoming 997 WB tuckus or 2.) someone wasting precious moments of their life mastering photoshop for such nonsense).

So according to the most recent post - in fact it IS going to have a wider body which would seem to confirm once and for all the car in question here is wider after all?
