This Porsche dealership has gotten into prepping older Cayennes for off road use and is now a dealer for Eurowise Cayenne lift kits etc.. They are also building a Cayman Safari like rallye car.

Should be a big seller in the US, antidote for the decades of lack of infrastructure spending on roads…
be my guest, not in the US only ... in Germany, we are currently experiencing a great happening as all of a sudden a lot of autobahn / highway bridges in the country seem to be in "very bad condition", to put it mildly ... 
... so, perhaps there is a market for high clearance sports cars actually ... oh, and, I already see the "dirt paint to sample" EUR 10.000 option for the DAKAR 911 coming ... oh, boy ...

So a more practical 911. They should probably add a bit of rear seat room, maybe a couple doors for better access. Perhaps a hatch to access an increased luggage area. Being a Porsche, it needs regular, S, GTS and Turbo trims. I can't wait to see something like it at the dealer.

For years, the brand failure to deliver a real off road 4wd w room inside has been glaring.
The early Cayenne w low range was ok, but everything since is soccer mom with tiny interiors.

After a recent two day snowfall, the advantages of this Porsche becomes very apparent. Many of the roads, a week later, are relatively clear; however, a few roads remain heavily ridged with patchy areas of ice. A few more centimeters of ground clearance and a comfort suspension setting is all that is needed to tackle the back country roads.

I don't know why but for some reason the number 928 sound like a good fit for this mythical vehicle. Wonder if Porsche has ever thought about something like that.

You mean the last ones from Spyderidol? I see them fine but the are an external link embedded in the post, if you do not see them then the problem I would think would be with your connection to that external hosting site
