I was going to take it in Arctic Grey with all the blue trims but this time I was asked do I want it in PTS and I was like sure and here we go.

Atm PCCB is no longer on the german configurator (although still in my country), presumably supply difficulties?
Didn't check the box for PCCB.
I refused to pay extra for that option. 
It's fine if the car come standard with it but I will never pay for it on top of a car.

Oh here is a bit of interesting tidbits.
On my email exchanges, it was mentioned that my production date isn't confirmed yet, they are waiting for the paint to be delivered to the factory before they can set a date.
It would seems instead of mixing the paint themselves, Porsche is having a 3rd party mix and deliver PTS colours.

Really? Even small paint shops mix it from a system.. means they can make any colour from about 40 ingredients. Would amaze me if Porsche messed around dealing with inventory for n different pre-mixed paints.. would seem very clunky given their alleged super-fancy new paint shop.

Process actually went quite quickly, I put in my order for the car first week of December and got everything approved and 'scheduled'.
I am guessing their fancy paint shop doesn't have a 'mixing' room. Regular production paint range are delivered JIT in containers to be piped in. custom order paint cars also run on the same paint line but the colours are added to the system 'JIT'. So each car gets it's own 'batch', even if 2 Riviera Blue car comes along within the day.

Porsche, much like other automakers, also has suppliers, for example, those that mold the fascias, deliver painted parts so the same paint batches are sent to those suppliers. This eliminates mismatch issues by having different batches of paint. Part of the reason PTS is so expensive is that Porsche tests to ensure that the desired paint color remains consistent across the different materials of the body and that it ages at the same rate. Then there is the logistics of making sure the same paint batch is distributed to all the necessary vendors.

Hehe, that's is pretty much how the car will look, except my brakes will be painted black.

That's probably the colour you talking about, Viola Purple Metallic aka veilchenlilametallic. Paint code for that is W85.
Mine will be the Viola Metallic, violametallic, paint code 4VN.
