Gauss:I have an allocation for 2022 but can't make up my mind if I prefer a light weight spec (Titanium cage, PCCB, no lift, no PCM/parking sensors, standard lights): http://www.porsche-code.com/PNLZT5L8 (I could add BBS FI-R mag wheels later),
or a more conservative spec (steel brakes/cage, lift, PCM, PDLS lights etc.), maybe in black with blue accents, like http://www.porsche-code.com/PNM74M23
Why not lightweight in black w blue accents? Black certainly best on this car

A lighter exterior colour suits the car better IMO.
Why did you tick option 8AA? The weight saving will be negligible for real performance and it will not be possible to retrofit, This might affect resale or a change in your own mood in future.
"Porsche....and Nothing else matters"

One of the highlights of this spec is the blue cage. Only the steel cage can be painted, so it's not going to be the lightest spec if I chose steel cage with PCCB etc, more of a compromise. At the moment I'm playing around with a few ideas, not sure what I'm going to end up with.
xpto:I'm not a hug fan of the black hood with light colours
You can have the GT2RS stripe as CXX option:

I will probably tick the option and replace the unit with the storage box myself.

2 tone cars are cartoons at best. Black, dark green or midnight blue best if you have a carbon hood. Porsche has a profound design problem now. Putting those crane things on this antiquated design is hilarious, and another feature black would help hide- hiding the design is the best owner strategy one I will follow if I follow through on my order.
save the GT4RS- clean smooth modern

Another factory car. Wonder when we will start to see customer cars ?
For the moment dealers got their allocations but delivery confirmations are very slow to come in.
One of the dealers in Switzerland has an allocation of 7 cars for this year. For the moment only one car for June has been confirmed. It can change, hopefully it will, … but does not look too good for now

GoHardGT3RS:First deliveries in Germany are in April.
So what happened to the initial plan ?
The new Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS is celebrating its world premiere at the Los Angeles Auto Show and can now be ordered at a base price of 141,338 euros (including 19 per cent VAT). Delivery begins in December. In addition, the GT4 RS is available with the optional Weissach package to further enhance its aerodynamics. The 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport racing version is also celebrating its premiere in Los Angeles, and it will be launched in several national and international racing series starting in 20
Gauss:Just as wrong as the sentence: WP enhances aerodynamics.
all the performance is already included in the standard specc. WP is just cosmetics, inside and outside.
That was taken form the original press release.
I now went back to the official Porsche GT4 RS info and there is a change on delivery schedule but the “WP enhances aerodynamics “ is still official maybe they are implying that the little cup shaped intake makes all the difference

Tentatively, Porsche has scheduled a euro delivery in Zuffenhausen for my PTS GT4RS late June. Trying to push that back another month as I have a wedding that I need to attend in Austria late July. Wanted to combine both trips.
Don't think I am this excited to get a new car after the 918. immediately fell in love with this car ever since I saw the secret prototype 4 years ago at Weissach.
Drove into Weissach right after I picked up my turbo S Exclusive for a Spyder Circle event, and the engineers there surrounded the car and check it out, as if they haven't seen a Porsche ever, all the while I was giddying up to the prototype. With a GT3 tach and a hack job intake tubes feeding the GT3 engine. The production engine intake is so much more refined.
They were showing us the then new 718 GT4 ClubSport, and also a prototype of the GT2RS ClubSport also. Matt Campbell was on hand giving hot laps on the track with a Cup car. He ended up going off, that was another highlight.
