    Re: T.33

Wait so, what day is it going to be unveiled? Not sure they mentioned it.

    Re: T.33

I wonder how much less expensive it will be than T50??

I've always wondered what's the risk with building a company around 1 (genius) guy. Will it have the same provenance when the founder isn't around anymore?

I guess other examples would be Enzo and Colin - both Ferrari and Lotus carried on without their geniuses, to varying degrees of success...

Description automatically generated with medium confidence

The T.33 Supercar will be powered by a specially reconfigured version of the world-beating Cosworth engine. The 3.9-litre V12 will rev to a staggering 11,100rpm.

“Once again, we joined forces with our technical partner Cosworth to create a bespoke engine for the T.33, every single detail was pored over in painstaking depth. Numerous systems and components were re-engineered and re-designed to pursue excellence, and we are 100 per cent confident that the GMA.2 V12 provides the perfect match for the T.33’s driving characteristics.”

    Re: T.33

    • Target weight - 1,090 KG

    • The world’s fastest paddle shift gearchange.

    • T.33 will be the last non-hybrid supercar produced by GMA.

    • Available with a manual 6-speed H pattern gearchange or with an IGS paddle shift actuator.

The T.33 GMA.2 engine is derived from T.50’s Cosworth GMA V12, the world’s greatest V12 – a signature sound like no other:

    - 615 PS

    - 11,100 RPM

    - 75% Max torque @ 2,500 RPM

    - 90% Max torque @ 4,500 RPM

    - 564 PS/Tonne

    Re: T.33

Love the specs, definitely think he needs some styling help on the front.  Just like the T50.

    Re: T.33

I like it but definitely see the lotus references as others have noted. Unfortunately way way way out of my price bracket.

    Re: T.33

    A nice surprise.

In the overly complicated designs we seen now on all high end sports car, having a very simple style is a breath of fresh air.

And when you know it has a V12 reving at 11'000 RPM, the choice of manual or auto, weight at 1100kg , it becomes like a dream come true.

I hope some of the top end buyers here at RT will get one !

    Re: T.33

amazing hearing Gordon talking about it - fantastic achievement !

    Re: T.33

Looks interesting and impressive specifications with the Cosworth V12!  Smiley

...from this angle I wonder if Gordon Murray has designed it so that this T33 Supercar V12 Coupe can easily become a T33 Supercar V12 Targa model in a future variant? Smiley

Gordon did say there will be 3 different variant of this car.

And listening to him describe all the process and thoughts about the car is fascinating

    Re: T.33

That's a whole lot more attractive vs the T.50. I'm a fan! (no pun intended!)
