Styling-wise I think it is one of the top mid-engined cars ever made.
The V10 is also a rare one-off for Porsche.
Pity some the technology is not up to date. No full stability management for a powerful and tricky car that came out 4 or 5 years after PSM was available on ordinary Porsches. I am not even debating the absence of PDK as not everybody will agree about its merits. Porsche should have introduced PDK earlier and on this special car rather than on the 997.2.
I suppose collectors don't look into these things as they are not buying for driving but for owning and possibly reselling at a profit..

Take a 986 and turn off PSM and you have the same "issues". The Carrera GT is quite fine, you just need to use your brains when driving it, also tires are an issue, which can be solved though.
