very nice fanch!
regarding the color: don't go for seal grey!! -- although it's a nice color, it's IMHO way too common with porsches. if you like grey-ish tones, stay with slate (i haven't seen atlas in reality yet, though).

just because of this it'll be probably the most stylish S around
one question (...maybe i shouldn't post this in the P section ): why didn't you go for a F430? IMO your S price tag is not too far away from the F430 list price, and having depreciation in mind...

Are you sure about that? I live in Australia and Fanch's car would cost about $290k AUD and an F430 is about $440k AUD for the F1.

Are the Carrera S wheels your favourite or didn't you bother to order Carrera Classics or SportDesign?

Yes Carlos,
I don't have the exact details but I've been told that basically, from 06 models, the CD slot of of the PCM can read MP3 CDs.
Which is great considering the amount of tracks you can put on an MP3 CD!

F430 is indeed within sight pricewise.
But it's not the issue anyway.
this car will be multi purpose, Track, town and Journeys.
I need the back seats, either to carry people around or to load plenty of luggage.
I like the F430 but somehow, not in love with it. I think the Stradale is much prettier but too hardcore for everyday use.
997 Turbo will be 4WD and too heavy for what I intend to do with the car.
The only car that will make me cringe when it comes out is the next GT3, bc it will be cheaper than the car I'm ordering now and better.
And according to RC, sounds like it'll get PSM. So I guess it'll also get all the nice gizmos like Bose, Nav, etc.
Maybe just not rear seats and sunroof but add the aerokit.
Is the GT3 softening? It sounds like it but No, don't think so at all though.
But my 997S will give me plenty to handle anyway.
As for depreciation, well, if depreciation was an issue, I would certainly not order PCCB, X51 and sport chassis!!!
