Among other examples, do you bring your relatives with you to the movies in your car, or do you go and shop around in your car, well do you do every simple things of life with your 911 just like any other car?

As you say I should be brainless indeed. I didn't catch the meaning of what you said. I vainly read your post several time, but with all my respects, I can't get it.

here in the US nobody cares.... if you park too close to another car you are sure to suffer quite a few dings in the doors or scratches from people squeezing between the two parked cars.

Dr. F. Porsche defined and desired the 911 as a sports car we could use in our everyday life. Is it still an authentic concept and the 911 in its last version, still follows is initiator rule?

I picked up my new 997S April 2 and drive it everyday to work (30 miles each way), son's soccer practice, grocery store, etc. Rain or shine. What's the point of owning such a great car if you're not going to drive it?

I don't drive it daily, but I guess I could, its that practical. I have an SUV for bad weather days, I'm in Houston, where it can flood easily, so I'm not risking my 911's! I've had a car flood before, not nice.
