    Dealer invoice

    Just courious if anyone knows what the dealer invoice ($) is on a base 997s cab.

    According to Edmunds, the invoice price of a 997S Cab is $77,657.00. They don't have any info on the invoice price for options though.

    Nicholas, I've tried the Kelly Blue Book website. They only list MSRP not the Dealer Invoice. It's not really important because the dealer I ordered my 997s cab from gave me $1000 off MSR which seems to be pretty standard.I'm just courious to know what the dealer makes on these cars.

    MSRP is $88,900.00 so since invoice is $77,657.00, they make the approx. $11k 69bossnine quoted right off the bat. Any additional options are just padding to their profit. On another note, I haven't really even heard of people getting discounts on the cabs at all so $1k off MSRP is good. Congrats on the purchase.

    I got $5K off on my coupe, but my dealer is in a small market.

    I know people have been getting discounts on the coupes by shopping around, but I was referring to the cabs in particular...mainly because they just came out and because it's almost summertime so the demand at this particular time is higher.

    Sorry about that, but I'll agree with 69bossnine, about 11k. I got 2k off my 997S with a list a just shy of 88k.

    Figure 15% profit in just about any configuration. Some heavily optioned cars will bring 18% to the dealer's pocket.

    They get about 13% of the nut at sale, earning the balance with positive surveys, etc.

    I was able to get 3% off MSRP or about 3k on my S Cab. Did a bunch of shopping. Can't wait for that May delivery. Bring it on.

    I was able to get 10.5% off MSRP, alittle over 9k off my 997c2 back in December 04 new. MSRP was just under 87k. Bought in MA. Dealers in Socal weren't negotiating anything lower in MSRP.
