    Interesting that the power was a little below spec (502bhp or 510PS) and the torque a little above spec (470NM).  Did they say how they measured this?  These numbers imply that the torque curve was nice and fat around its peak (6100 rpm), but fell off more quickly than it should by its hp peak (8400 rpm).

    It was a typo, the power was at 497 hp.

    As to the price there is a big escalation from 171.000 EUR to 243.000 EUR. It must be a mistake Smiley

    Options are unlikely to add up to more than 30.000-35.000  EUR incl. the usual PCCB, Bucket seats and Lift. The car in the picture doesn't seem to have the carbon roof which is another one of the more expensive extras.

    There might be some kind of special tax in France levied on very high performance cars explaining the difference Smiley

    I haven't been following up with the options on 911's ever since I sold my GT2 and switched to Ferrari, but from some of the interior + exterior shots, I could spot the following:

    Bose Surround + PCCB + Full Bucket Seats (incl. harness) + Roll Cage + Blue Stitching + Leather/Alcantara on lower part of the dash + Black wheels with Blue borders

    Base Price: 173,562

    Options: 39,480

    Tax: 30,000

    Bearing in mind that VAT is already included in the prices, €30.000 of additional tax is a heavy price loading heart

    That's the new rate for the carbon tax of any car above 200g of CO2 per km...

    There is currently very high demand for second hand cars where these taxes are already paid off but 2021 introduced this stiff increase. When I registered by 991.1 it was only 10kE...

    30k euro is what? 15%?

    So 20% Vat 15% emission tax. Still a small number compared to say Denmark? China and Hong Kong and Singapore.

    My province is already charging 25% sales tax, next year there will be an additional Federal tax for cars above 100,000. 10% of the total cost or 20% of the amount above 100,000, which ever is less.

    2022 will be at 40,000€

    2023 will be at 50,000€…

    This is just going to kill the market and put any sport car at horrendous price…

    Missile is this just for France, or is there an Eu directive coming? Here in Cyprus we are capped I believe at 2500 Euros for road tax, due to emissions...so we are lucky for now.  It used to be similar to France where we had to pay an excise tax up to 40-50k, but thankfully this was abolished and the road tax was increased instead..

    No idea and I truly hope this is not going to be applied across Europe. It is a shame and just a market killer.

    In Spain we have the 21% of VAT, plus:

    Less than 120 g/km de CO2 0%
    Between 121 y 159 g/km  CO2 4,75%
    Between 160 y 199 g/km  CO2 9,75%
    More than  200 g/km de CO2 14,75%
