    CGT aerodynamics

    I was just wondering: Do the aerodynamics change greatly when the top is off? Does it lose its air flow to the spoiler?

    Hitting mach 0.2 is awesome with the top removed.

    The only mention in the manual about the tops with respect to aerodynamics is that one is forbidden to drive with only one of the top halves in place

    yes it does if I know my physics right, the open roof will create a suction efect and create lift, thus lowering downforce, it will also effect the flow of air over the top of the car thus creating more drag.

    Then, it is possible (but not recommended) to attach only one of the top halves in place and drive, correct? Does the car computer know whether one or both panels have been attached?

    the one thing it doesnt affect is structural rigidity.
