    Pic request - 987 with Terracotta interior

    Has anyone run across any decent pics of the Boxster (987) with the Terracotta full leather interior? If so, I would love to see them posted here.

    I always thought that Terracotta was an ugly colour. Until I saw it for the first time at my local Porsche dealer. Pictures don't do it justice. You have to see it in real life before passing judgement. However, I would not order it for my car.

    I saw it with Atlas Grey. The car looked good.

    SAw a car with this interior last week (sorry no camera at the time) was no where near as orange as that photo. Wasn't my cup of tea - looked salmony to me - now if the did something a little more red....

    Well there is one good thing about terracotta - it makes any other colour choice look tasteful.

    Color choices are a matter of personal taste, so I don't like going past saying "I don't personally like it" as I am not a member of the fashionista police, and do not feel that the masses opinions count for much.

    I do think the color is better with the contrasting black carpet, as the initial carpet color starts out more salmon than the leather and just goes further that direction when it fades. Also, if you live somewhere that the sun is strong like Arizona, you really want to lexol the leather and keep it in a garage as even the leather does fade noticably toward the pink range.

    If you like it go for it, I would hate to live in a world where everybody had the same sensibilities and made the same choices - just too boring for me.

    I would say it might not be a good choice for a car you want to re-sell in a EU country judging from the responses here!!
