    Telephone Module + CD-Changer RETROFIT !!

    so when i placed order my dealer said these two have them retrofitted

    I aksed for cost he said around 2,000 to 2,100 VAT incl.

    this means around 700 cd changer
    1200 telephone and the rest work.

    So now i ve been informed that i must buy also optical fibres cost 270,00 euro

    plus 300,00 euro work!!


    this means 2750,00 aprox!!!


    What do you think i should do?

    i mean at the beginning he did not mention about this cost
    and if i knew i would have them factory fitted

    Is it wild to asko to pay for fibres 270,00 euro but not for their work 300,00 euro?

    Dilinger, I think that it is WAY TOO EXPENSIVE !! When I compare to Belgian Prices, it's nearly DOUBLE THE PRICE of Factory Fitted !!

    "Retrofit" prices in Greece are 40% higher than stock.

    well i ve been told by "them" that retrofit is aprox same pice as factory and in some cases some euro less(arox.10-15)nothing.

    But in some cases that demand a lot of working hours that is going was higher.


    Generally, the monopoly concerning Porsche here does not help the situation at all

    In that case how come PSE's price? 3.000 euros is almost double score.
    The same for Short Shift.

    One month ago i met a guy with a 996 4S who wanted to install the Power Kit Conversion. ''They'' asked him 12.000 euros (or something like that).
    Are they serious for just +25 horsepower?

    yes i ve heard powerkit for 996 is around 13,000 euro.


    For PSE the facotry PSE costs 2,600 euro

    and retrofit costs 3,000 euro (for cars with sports chrono)
    for car without it costs a little less.

    Short shift is around the same i think factory short shift it 870,00 and
    retrofit is 440,00 Short Shift plus 400 labor work
    so 840,00 a little less, a little more

    But remember... you can have a trip abroad and install all these goodies for half the price.

    In Germany PCCB brakes cost almost 8.000 euros (13.000 GR).

    That's what i' m gonna do: major service + PSE, short shift, Power kit, Aero Kit. And a couple of days in Munich's countryside.

    Have you been to Chalandri workshop?
    Sorry, but Hyundai has invested more money for customers convenience. I 've seen several times cars customer's cars parked on the pavement (Ethnikis Antistaseos street) 'cause they don't have enough space.

    If they are able to sell many cars (48! new Porsches in February on such a tiny market- www.seaa.gr) they should be ready for that.

    And they keep on charging 40% more than other european dealers.

    Sorry- no bonus.

    I like tsose wheels ,bought it from Glyfada?
    I saw one there exactly like this but no red belts,and i think it was late January when i saw it in showroom which means it wasnts yours

    Any retrofits? Wheels and belts were factory extras?

    Yes from Glifada.
    Factory wheels and belts. Unfortunately with P zeros. Very hard compound for greek tarmac and too much noise.
    But it's a great car.
