    Re: 992 GT3

I always took the leather in my 911, RS or Carrera. Just gives it a little touch of  luxury and helps on resale.

Colored tachometer is a very personal decision. Personally I always go for black, even when the white is standard, I have it changed to black.

But i have seen some configuration where red looked good ( just not when the leather is also red)

If going with colored tach I would also do the Chrono dials. Better to match both.

Did they get rid of the active aero on the rear wing?   Looks like a one piece unit now?  Interesting to see the aero pieces on the roof as well.

Well my car showed up, will see it on Monday in all it's glory.  Unfortunately still doesn't have it's TPMS module so can't take delivery.  Very frustrating as there's a track day coming up and the weather is gorgeous...and then I'm headed to Scotland on the 8th so will be out of the country for a bit.

I would get the car without the TPMS sensors, enjoy the track day, and then have them fitted when they arrive. You never know, you could be waiting a long time and missing nice weather drives before the winter.

They won’t allow you to take delivery of US-spec car without the sensors which are a government required safety device.  The parts seems to be coming available lately…

One thing I love about my 964. I can take the seat belt off when driving in an underground parking without the car yelling at me. I must be a danger to myself and others Smiley

Exactly the reason why I went to shop in the older categories. it felt so refreshing to sit in a car without even the choice of having TC or not.

In my 996, I bypassed the clutch pedal switch so you don’t need a broom (and you don’t need a broom nor a bypass on air-cooled cars) Smiley

The broom is handy between the brake pedal and seat though when wiring on brakes (keeps the fluid from leaking out when the brake circuit is open if pedal is partially depressed).

Hmm, pretty sure I needed to depress the clutch to start my 3.6....................

In manual cars I leave the car in gear when I turn it off, don't always trust the hand brakes. On more than one occasion hand brakes didn't quite hold the car 😂

    that's very North America features.

I never had to depress the clutch on cars which are 10y + from now, all of them European spec. This is something very new and what literally in panic when I tried the first car with that feature Smiley

What do you think about the auto off function of the park brake? Ie. Park brake on. Start car. Into D. Drive and park brake goes off? Find it a little off-putting frankly.

Can't compete with Crayphile's Monza but got to at least see and sit in my car.  No idea when the TPMS module is coming in, supposed to be this week but...

They also had another shark blue GT3 delivered, after seeing it glad I went with silver wheels and normal roof.  Prefer them over the black wheels and carbon roof.
