It is not a pleasing design at all, in proportions, in detailing, in everything, which is a pity for the effort Subaru must have put into the new model.
It is good that they kept the flat 4. But Porsche have managed 350HP and 420Nm from a similar engine.

I think Subaru lives off the past WRX "legends", they do not really offer something interesting.

I think Subaru lives off the past WRX "legends", they do not really offer something interesting.
They sell like crazy in New England.

I would always choose a new RS3 sedan instead. Maybe not exactly the same price range but very powerful and fun to drive. Also very fast (drove one early this week, amazing power delivery).

Above is a picture of me and my son with his 2020 BRZ. We modified it with a tune, headers, racing exhaust, big brake kit, tuned suspension, wider rims and Michelin pilot sport 4S tires. Darnn hot car (220 whp) for under 45K, and a super fun daily driver. We both prefer it to a WRX.
