CloseGot this fantastic birthday present, a '89 Peugeot 205 Rallye. A true homologation special for the price of a set of PCCB's on your 911 and they really are a genuine hoot to drive. 794kg pushed by a little 1.3 engine with carburettors.

I’ve been seriously considering buying an old BMW as a bit of a project / fun car. Ideally a CSI 3.0 or, my father had a 2 door e30 when I was a kid, maybe one of those.

I had looked at these cars about a year or two ago when my son wanted to ''invest'' in an older car. Prices have sky rocked here and you can hardly find any. A great collector .

Another really cool hatch would be Clio 182 Trophy, highly regarded as one of the best made, and -I think- only 50 LHD made, only for the CH-market.

I took the 205 to our place in the South of France, to have it on the roads where it actually belongs. Small, winding, quiet. What a lovely, lovely thing. They don't make them like this anymore, nothing would come close in delicacy, feel good factor, ...

My first car was a 205 GTI 1.9
I have often been thinking if I should try to get one again, but never really seriously been giving it much effort.
I would like to try one, and see if it really is as good as I remember. I remember a Quirky gearstick and a really nice long first gear. Some of the things I did in that car, oh boy, happy I survived.
