I have not seen anything recently.
At this time a year ago the word from dealers was that the V6 would follow the V8 introduction by about one year. Since then we have had several Cayenne delays and I believe PAG has been a little suprised with the VW marketing of the Touareg. The VW is going further upscale than Porsche anticipated. I am getting the impression the V6 is on permanent hold until the market playing field becomes clearer. Porsche would like the Cayenne to be clearly positioned above the Touareg and a Cayenne V6 would inhibit that market positioning. If VW gets the V10 diesel into the US or the W12 that would really create havoc. Of course rising oil prices could also change everything.
