Porker:blueflame:Porker:Absurdly these 992 RS spy shots make me wish for yet another variant, an RS Touring
You will have the chance to buy this car from Zuffenhausen in the near future……but it will be called different.
Blueflame
tell me more!
The numberplate of my wife´s new BMW should give you a little hint.
I placed it on the car...just in case...

So there may be a new Porsche 911 ST - effectively a new Touring model - based on the 992 GT3 RS...
...without that W---I---N---G !!!!!

BONES:992 GT3 RS- N;Ring Work
https://www.motor1.com/news/558849/porsche-911-gt3-rs-video/
Nice to see, but any Ring videos posted this winter will be old footage (track has been closed for over a month and not open again until March at earliest). Interesting that the displacement is reported as 4.0L. I wonder if there is no 4.2L or whether it is being saved for more special models (50th Anniversary RS or RSR)?

BONES:Part me of thought this might be old footage , but I just went with it. Thanks for the heads up.
I still enjoyed it

Many comments about the large wing have not been kind. For track junkies, this is the car they will covet, For those that don't track, based on the mule photos the RS is may be less attractive than the 992GT3 (sorry Grant). I saw a 992GT3 on the road (shark blue) and it was meh.
The purpose of life is to enjoy the moment.
Agree with you . I was in the passenger seat of this car in meuspath 2,5 months ago.
Owning a 991.2 Gt3 RS , I can tell that what is inside is pretty incredible. Will not disclose any of the gimmicks and functions but this will be a a monster track car. If like me you drive mainly on the road and sometimes on track, this new version will be too much attention and the wing is huge ……but still….. they will release a masterpiece able to compete with much higher horsepower cars, without turbo and with a lot of Motorsport DNA inside. Hat on.

Wow, sounds like it will be something very special. I was also chatting with Gnil and speculating that it will be going more towards being something like a Cup-car or similar for the road.. Exciting stuff.

With massive aero, huge tire ( 335 back and front 275 ) that will compensate the smaller power compared to the competition .
Thierry : you need to tell us more if you did a lap in one of the prototype

Sounds amazing!
Do you know when the reveal will be?
The wing looks like it is more in proportion than in previous photos on the NBR? Could it be that the wing besides other active adjustments also rises and retracts according to speed? Or we are just beginning to get more used to it?
Also, respect to Porsche for testing such a focused sports/track car on a full snow and ice terrain. Other manufacturers probably don't bother to thoroughly test their normal cars in these conditions.

Pretty sure only the angle of the wing(s) is changing in rear (not height) - like DRS in F1…
