    I think it's the "usual" 90/95% question - meaning a 720 is probably 90% of this car - a 765 spyder 95% for considerable less money. Unless people buy just for exclusivity with money no object it does not make sense in my book.

    The orange #4 Elva is stunning and looks perfect if one has access to private roads.  For much of the country, unfortunately, the Elva with windscreen seems the more practical choice as road conditions, and large pickup trucks, mean rock projectiles are a common threat.

    My pleasure.  Definitely agree on the projectile risk and I dont think the helmets provide the same level of protection that a windshield does.  Also the wind against your face/helmet gets old after a bit.

    The development costs are significantly lower for the Elva, since it utilizes key components from other models, than developing an entirely new platform.  This allows for higher margins on the units sold as well as an increase in publicity for the marque without the need to spend cashflow on marketing campaigns.

    Agree, Elva would have been very cheap to develop.  Its basically a Senna under the skin with a slightly different tune on the engine.
