    Marc Philipp Gemballa: Marsien

     

     

    A 992-generation 911 Turbo S created for desert running courtesy of a generous 250-mm (9.8-inch) ground clearance in off-road mode or 120 mm (4.7 in) in on-road mode. It features a full carbon fiber body.
    750PS
    830PS     and 930Nm (upgraded VTG turbochargers and a remapped ECU)
    engine upgrade ‘POWERED BY RUF’
    Akrapovič titanium exhaust
    Road: 20/21-inch centerlock forged wheels with performance Michelin tires
    Off-Road: 19/20-inch forged wheels in all-terrain tires
    0-100Km/h: 2.6s
    Top speed: 335Km/h and 210Km/h(off-road)
    starting price of €495,000. A limited run of just 40 cars.
    As a final note, it's worth mentioning Marc Philipp Gemballa is not associated in any way with the Gemballa tuning firm as they're two completely different companies.

    Interesting as all these other companies are beating Porsche's own Safari 992 to market...

    Other than being Uber-prepared for the Zombie apocalypse, what does one do with one of these?

    They just look cooler than anything else and that's about it.

    OK, I also think they look cool. 

    And if my track would allow me to make some snowy laps in the Winter, that would be fun too.  Now that I think of it, there is ice racing that happens just west of here (in the mountains) on frozen lakes in the Winter.  I guess I'd buy myself some good ice tires (with spikes) and tear up those races Smiley

    The Porsche Safari will be a huge success..... It just fits the 992 so well, at least it'll look proportional then. 

    Can't wait for it.
