    Anyone seen one on the road in the UK?

    Just realised, apart from my test drive I still haven't seen a 987 in anger on the roads in the UK. Apart from those lucky soles who have already picked them up has anyone else? Or did a couple of people pick them up and there's going to be traffic jams of them on the 1st March?

    Just the 2 for me...

    A speed yellow S last year and yesterday I saw a GT silver (I think) 987 just near Hide park.

    Actually really liked the yellow but to be honest wasnt too ipressed by the silver one.. although it did have the cheapo wheels on it!

    A midnight blue one in evening traffic with xenons on park lane. Looked good.

    not in my area - but then again I have only seen one other 997 on the road when driving - in London of course

    I saw one on the 18th Dec on A4 near nat. hist. museum. Other than that...no.

    I'll be one of the first 05's in Chiswick next Tuesday though!!

    The wait is nearly over!!!

    That's why nobody's seen any. They're all hyding in Hide Park.

    yes...There are two Boxster S.. one manual Artic Silver and Trip GT silver in the undeground car park in the appt I am staying in... Both look stunning with the large 19" wheels.. Wish they would let me test drive their cars for them.....

    Hey Rich, cld you tell me how the spd yellow looked in reality pls? I've also ordered a spd yellow, just wondering if it's too "loud". thanks a bunch!

    Very nice actually, personally thought it looked much better than the silver. Certainly more interesting to look at.

    Not sure its a color I could live with but It certainly looked good.

    Had the 19s by the way, which looked pretty cool.

    Spotted my first 987 on the road today. Followed a basalt black "S" into the Mailbox car park in Birmingham. It had 19" carrera S wheels which looked great and it sounded fabulous (I dropped the window in my VW Polo to hear it better). This is making the wait for my car even worse - I've just sold my 2000 Boxster S, so I'm having to make do with the Polo until my 987 arrives (which may end up being April now!).

    Finally saw one myself - in the carpark at Gatwick. Mentioned it to the guy who'd come to pick me up - turns out he was an ex-fleet sales manager who used to own a 911, had a great chat driving back...

    I hope not - I just sold my Mini Cooper S so as to be a bit more original by getting a 987!!
