    Sport exhaust...available...and not

    The sport exhaust story gets more and more confusing. I just found out that some ordered cars have randomly been confirmed with sport exhaust orders, others have been refused. Right now the sport exhaust availability is limited to...whoever knows. It seems that Porsche randomly confirms sport exhaust orders and randomly refuses them.
    A more "constant" availability is NOT expected before August. For us who wait for a retrofit, things could be delayed even further. I have to confess that I don't understand the whole availability thing and I'm more than confused. I just hope that Tequipment gets a few exhaust systems sooner or later...

    Considering the rumored limitations (sport button activation and speed limit setting) and the reasonably good sound of the stock 'S', I've lost a bit of interest in PSE.

    Thats exactly what I have been told as well. Mine was accepted (an April build) but suposedly they can't cope with the great demand yet and they are only accepting some of the orders until production can meet demand and all are acceted, thats why some others get refused now. And that those waiting for exhaust through parts department for retrofit would have to wait even further because ordered cars peding delivery due to the exhaust on order get preference over already purchased car's retrofit.

    Not in the US!

    I tried to add XLF to my 997S order (April build) and it was bounced by the computer.

    I've just had mine confirmed for April build and delivery with sports exhaust.
