    I need help with GT2/GT3 gearboxes ....

    Hello,

    I would like to know if anyone has knowledge of these gearboxes.
    The question is if I can use GT3 04' gearbox with cooling system in my GT2?
    Remember about torque differences between GT2 and GT3.
    Some people say that they are the same and the only difference is gear length but some say that they are totally different and GT3 gearbox can't handdle.

    Just curious: Since The GT2's gearbox also uses the heat exchanger ("cooling system"), why would you want to use a GT3 box in a GT2?

    GT2 box had stronger bearing(s) fitted compared with 996 TT, to enable it to stand up to GT2's higher torque. So it may also be "beefed up" compared up to the GT3 version?

    Hi,
    At the moment I use GT3RSR final drive(4;00) in my GT2 gearbox and the problem is that the first two gears are not long enougth.
    In my case GT3 gearbox is much better because first and second gears are longer and the rest is getting shorter.

    you can change the ratios in the GT3 as well as GT2.

    no, only using RSR parts which is expensive and need to change everything inside

    My car i the most powerfull GT2 in Poland.
    I'm last year drag racig champion in outlaw class. (only 640ps last year)
    I have 800ps motor with short gearbox now.

    800Hp engine that must be quite something
    You seemed to have much more traction than the Supra.

    Do you have more videos or pics of your car?
    Although it has so many Hp it looks like a stock GT2 which is great, the mods are where they should be, on the heart of the beast

    supra tt is much faster then this S4

    Can you post the link to the video where you destroid the Audi?

    I really don't care about the results and I never mention any 10sec time performed by any car (don't kno where get this ideia from )
    I don't want to sound like I'm trying to prove anything here. As I said before, even if those cars had 1500Hp, I wouldn't compared them in any way to your GT2 simply because we cannot compare a legend to a ordinary hipertuned car.

    Sorry, can't help you on the gearbox issue.
