very loud black 360 in Milan...

Tuesday afternoon I was in via Montenapoleone in Milan and i saw - better - heard a black 360 with Ticino (CH) plate. I was speaking over the phone and i saw the car only from the back , so i didn't see who was driving, but the sound of the engine was incredible...the girl i was speaking to at the phone asked what was happening down there!!!
It was you Luigi??
If yes, what kind of exhaust do you have?
It is always like that or it's possible to switch to more silent tone?

Yes art, it was me. My house and garage are 20 metres from Montenapoleone.
There's no silent switch, and all the better for it!

I'm interested in your "soundsystem).

Do you have a movie from your 360 with sound?

It would be great if you can send me a movie or just a sound file. and I'm sure you have something on your pc to present your awesome sound or better said noise!

please put something online for me....is it possible?

Hi Luigi,

I have just installed the same exhaust system as yours, i.e. Tubi end pipe and straight pipe replacing the catalytic converter as well as a Tubi air filter. After 200 Km of fun, the "Check Engine" light next to the "Sport" light came on. The dealer reset it and said that the oxygen sensor detected a different exhaust air mixture due to the lack of the cat. After another 50 Km, this light came on again. What did you do in your car to stop the light from coming on all the time?

This exhaust system is a lot of fun, though I'm not sure whether my neighbours will tolerate it for long. I might have to put the cat. back in, in order to keep peace.

I'm not an expert, but what I know is that you can't change the way the sensor detects the air mixture. Had the same problem with the 355 after installing the tubi stuff.

However, that's not a serious problem. The dealer told me that I don't have to worry. Due to the changed mixture (which is nevertheless better than before) the sensor will come on sometimes. Maybe Manu from Scuderiasystems can tell you more about it...or check www.ferrarichat.com. There you'll find answers.

It should be possible to "adjust" it by a software upgrade for the engine control unit.

And you shouldn't drive without a cat...

If you are referring to the small "emission check" orange light, I have it on all the time since I changed the exhaust.It is a bit frustrating but nothing is affected on either performance or reliability, so I just ignore it (it's very tiny anyway).
Partyboy, sorry I overlooked your post, I don't have sound files of my Modena yet, as soon as I make some I'll post them.
