Leawood911:RC:mcdelaug:Thanks for sharing that info Leawood. Is it crazy that I’d prefer to pay taxes to my home state than save a little money? Don’t answer that, haha! I’m very loyal to Texas; It has become part of my identity.
Nope, highly understandable.
Says the man from Texas with no state income taxes. I also own property in Kansas and Missouri and plenty of car and boat taxes in both of those not to mention income taxes. Tax day was yesterday and I just wrote another $7k check. Never got any Covid relief money even though my income took a 40% hit. But I get your point. Do keep in mind I would never have gone the llc route. It was just logical and legal.
Yeah, I totally get it and wasn’t trying cast any aspersions. It would have been easy for me to set up a Montana LLC but somehow it didn’t feel right… So sales tax paid…

In Canada you pay $11k just for freight as the ship the car by air.
Just a brief update: car developed some rear axle instability under full acceleration which became unpredictable in its behavior at over 200kmh, especially in cooler weather. Dealer worked on it for 2 months, replaced rear shocks, rear suspension control module, tires. None of these fixed the issue. I was offered 19 inch wheels to replace my 20s as a solution, as this eliminated the problem, but I declined. Once the ambient temperature was over 80F again, the problem disappeared, but in my opinion, I should be able to drive it even when the weather is 60F or so. I still love the car, but this has changed how I feel about driving it aggressively. This has also kept me from ordering an Aventador replacement.

OK, I have to admit that I have difficulties understanding the problem.
I drive my Performante at temps below zero deg C and never had instability issues, even at speeds up to 240 kph.
Also, don't you have the RWD version of the Evo?
Why would the AWD Aventador have similar issues?
I still think this was a tire issue.

the-missile:It is just a lambo, famous for boulevard cruiser but certainly not for high performance chassis and train. There is a reason they are AWD…
I do not share your view at all. Having owned various GT3 and still owning a 991.2 GT3 Touring, I love my Huracan EVO AWD. I put already more than 8k km on it within one year, never missed a beat, great on mountain roads with AWD, RWS and torque vectoring, very fast on the autobahn, and even if you drive slow, with the sound the engine produces, it's an event. Basically I never had so much fun with a car.

We can agree to disagree, this is why these cars are in AWD...easier to develop a chassis and suspension setup with AWD than RWD. I am not saying the AWD is not a good car.

Not true but I won't start arguing with you. On the contrary, I find it quite challenging for a manufacturer to develop a proper AWD setup and many manufacturers fail to do that, they think that AWD cars need a more RWD oriented driving dynamics setup, which is wrong in my opinion. I love the neutral AWD setups but surprisingly, the Performante is for example neutral in Corsa mode but more RWD oriented in Sport mode. Not sure about the EVO, didn't drive it too often.
