    Whose bodykit is that ? Dont like the rear end treatment but the lights in the turbo grille cover look good

    When should this first facelisft be due? Heard rumors modelyear 2007?

    Mick, as you can read from tom911's post; it's not a bodykit, it looks like the long-expected upgrade by porsche itself. Thanks a lot for the pics!

    Yes, this is the long awaited facelift. The front lights loose the "tear drop" shape, the rear stays almost the same but gets LED type rear lights.
    I saw a drawing of the facelift and it looks very nice and aggressive, especially the front.
    The front air inlets/front bumper is a fake...just a little hint.
    The "sad" part regarding the facelift: the front lights and the front bumper won't be retrofittable as expected by many people.
    The facelift is expected for MY 2007, meaning late spring/early summer 2006.
    Rumours indicate a fourth Cayenne variant, a stronger V6 engine with rumoured 270-290 HP. A stronger V8 engine with rumoured 360 HP and a V8 Bi-Turbo with rumoured 470 HP.
    And of course the fourth model...

    I have a little bit more details on the facelift but I can't post them all because it could unveil the source of the information. I think I said too much already.

    Nothing dramatic as GM said but the cahnges are welcome.
    I must admit, I was never a Cayenne lover but it is growing on me, damn, I hate to admit it but Porsche has done it again!
    It wouldn't have been the case a few years ago but if I had to chose an SUV now, it would be a Cayenne.

    RC, what does that mean, don't they normaly change in September after their ferries? I am thinking of ordering a Cayenne for September this jear , but there will be no sense of waiting for a longer time.

    Oh, thanks, Super Darius, never heard that before. I have to give my 996 Cabrio back end of july and do not know if this is a good idea to wait for nearly one year ...

    Dont think it makes sense to wait so long. The facelift will come later than that anyhow. Expect it calendar year 07
