I just read some updated information that says the ship did not arrive on time and in fact will arrive tomorrow, 15 February. Sorry, but Mondays usually result in better data.
I do not know the name of boat but salesperson reported was onvesl 2/10. Wondering if anyone knows when I might expect the next boat to Halifax, Canada. Does onvesl actually mean the boat has set sail, or does it simply mean the car is loaded and waiting for boat to fill up?
From my experience it means that it is actually on the ship. The sailing date my by the same date or one daylater than the ONVESL date. Your dealer has access to the info that tells him the actual ship date and the expected in port date. Just ask your salesperson.
Don't know if this will help you, but I found my car by entering the VIN at www.wlna.com. Go "cargo Tracking" then "auto cargo" and enter your VIN. My car's somewhere between Savannah, Georgia and the Panama Canal. SHould be in port here March 9.
