kudryavchik:Ferrari is sh-t. I would buy a Porsche. Pure design, no unnecessary curves and the new gt3 will run circles around all the current ferrari lineup. Front engined ferraris ended on f12, which was a real beauty (except rear window). 812 is simply wrong, the base model and all the modifications. Imho:-)
I love the F12, the 812 Superfast and all the special editions coming out. N/a V12 engine. What is not to like?
The only thing I really do not like about Ferrari is the dealerships and their attitude.
My Lambo dealer remembers me a lot of my former Porsche dealer, when you had a personal and close contact for years during the ownership of the car. I am even on a first name basis with the chief mechanic. Try this with Ferrari.

crayphile:Mithras:I just really dislike the great big black stripe across the hood. Get rid of that, loose the yellow sidewalls and you have something nice.
Yellow tyre logos look terrible but can be deleted. The carbon strip across the hood cannot.
I must be missing something, but won't this cause massive glare problems?

The rear end needs some work as well. Is there a functional reason for the stripe across the hood? It looks like a kit car. It seems disjointed from a styling perspective. Its appearance will be very color sensitive.
Crayfile, choose well.

The sweetest good-bye Ferrari could have given the V12 n/a engine...

CGX car nut:The design is redolent of Lamborghini as well as old Ferrari.
It is indeed a superb product.

Decided to give mine a bit of a Spa as the paint was full, full of swirls, insects etc. plus it didn't come looking perfect from the factory in the first place. Looking forward to see its full potential.
The guy told me amongst the luxury brands he treats, Ferrari is generally the worst paint condition, Bentley the best, fwiw

M3ike:The induction noise reminds me of the old DTM with the M3 E30 and 190 2.5 DTM. Considering it’s a road car and current regulations great job by Ferrari.
@Porker and there is a Huracan sniffing from behind the wall, be careful!
Indeed it's the Huracan's brother with the proper soundtrack.

That is awesome.
I was always tempted to put a 12-throttle set of velocity stacks with Motec fuel injection management on my F550 to get some of that character.

CGX car nut:These are two areas where Audi's technological prowess benefited Lamborghini. The paint and finish are exceptional.
The quality, especially the interior, of my Performante is immaculate.

JimFlat6:Ferrari builds exciting cars but their paintwork is notoriously mediocre. Maybe the next generation will finally have a paint finish that matches their price. If you own one, don't look at the welds under either.
