Yep, AMG is trying to “sell” the downgrade as something positive, F1 technology for streetcars.
This is the only play they have if they want to save AMG. I get it but I don’t know if it wouldn’t be better to switch to full EVs instead, hybrids make sense but for a performance brand, I think EVs make more sense than hybrids if they have no choice.

I think that brands lie AMG should keep the basic DNA,... and as an alternative offer also full EV's, but downgrade to 4 cylinder is really a bad desiciion IMA... there are gonna lose many clients(purists). I really love the new C-Class... but its just sad to see what they are doing. You can take F1 as and ad, but it doesnt make this better.... I still miss those V8's in F1.... I cant stand the new F1 sound... visited many races over the years and F1 doesnt sound the same...
