    Impressive. But the notion of driving the car to the track is out the window. It would be like going out with a porn actress with EEE implants. It's on the other side of the fine line between cool and gaudy. Better to take it to the track in an enclosed transport. 

    I would still drive it to the track, if I had one.  Otherwise, may as well get a Cup…

    Porsche cannot increase power substantially provided they want to continue offering customers a normally aspirated engine.

    Therefore, the Weissach engineers have resorted to these extreme looking aerodynamic aids in order to increase average speeds and reduce lap times.

    The current 992 GT3 with its upgrades is very adequate even for those who drive previous RS generations. So, the upcoming RS will be a more extreme version solely for the hardcore driver who is approximately 95% on track and 5% on the road.

    Nevertheless, I believe that once this new model is released and people familiarize with the looks no one will talk about the wing anymore. Some may even prefer it to the standard item.

    No, this is Motorsport (GT) product, based on the 992 GT3 RS, but with Manual gearbox and folding wing (like 911R).
